Voyage 0.8 -- where do I get leds-alix module from? Tried apt-get
install alix-leds without success.

Hello

I want to build voyage-0.8 kernel with some updates of ath5 drivers.
What is the easiste way to recompile kernel and modules?
I see that since 0.6 i'ts build with debian-live cd?
Do I need voyage-sdk-0.8.0.iso or debian-live cd?
I have downloaded voyage-sdk-0.8.0.iso  and run it in virtualbox, but 
don't see how to use it :-(

Would be nice a docu about howto compile kernel step by step.
Or does it exist and I have no found it?

I am having difficulty getting Voyage to assign a device to my realtek 8187
wifi dongle.

I have installed firmware-realtek from debian backports.

I bought this particular adapter because it is supposed to "just work",
 but so far it's been kind of a wash. Any clues?

Hi to all,
I would use a tft monitor via VGA with a native resolution of 800x480.
I tried some fbmodes but all I get is a 640x480 stretched display. Could
anyone post be correct fbmodes for lxfb?
It is possible to set this kind of resolution at startup time, using kernel
parameters?

Hi, I'm using
2.6.38-voyage #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Jun 24 01:46:28 GMT 2011 i586 GNU/Linux

I run a Xorg session from crontab (< at >reboot).

Sometime it doesn't start and I find
  XKB: Failed to compile keymap
inside /etc/X11/Xorg.0.log

I found out that it has something to do with disk full

What do you think about?

There is bug in new v 0.8 MPD becouse I can`t update song database by new
webGUI (meshlium). Its just possible from command line:# mpc update
# mpc listall | mpc add
# mpc play

I suggest to use phpmp ;)

Recent Discussion: WRAP LED's suddenly stopped working

Hi,

I have a fresh install of voyage 8.0, I had to remove the watchdog
package so that the system would not reboot every 30 seconds.

I was successfully able to have the LED's working after reboot, I
installed some additional packages, remove some too and now when I
reboot all I get is the power LED.

When I dmesg, I see the LED's registered.

Is there some script that I can run to enable them again?

I tried to follow your live CD install to thumb drive section. but no luck.
My USB thumb drive listed as sda and i have no idea what to select beside
(default) setting. Example target...

If an updated instruction would be very helpful.

I'm on an X386 PC.

Hello , I`ve voyage distro on CF card (read only).
I`d like to make movie player with minimal memory requirement. I`ve not any
GUI on it. I installed mplayer-nogui, but without GUI nothing works. So my
question is:
what is minimal GUI for linux just for play movies with mplayer.
